At AUREL, development, new technologies and complex engineering projects are part of our everyday work. But behind every solution and every innovation, there are people. And those people matter just as much. We wanted to be connected not only by our work, but also by values that go beyond individual projects. That is why, in 2017, we launched the charitable initiative AUREL for the People. It is built on a simple yet powerful belief: when we stand together, we can support not only one another, but also people facing difficult life situations. For nine years now, this belief has guided us. And we have been helping together ever since.
Help that comes from our people
Every year, our employees nominate real-life stories that have touched them personally. The entire company is involved. First in the decision-making process and then in the support itself. Throughout the year, colleagues voluntarily contribute money to a transparent account. AUREL, together with our sister company LENAM, which later joined the initiative, matches the collected amount each month. As a result, the funds on the transparent account grow quickly and several times a year reach those who need them most.
Once the target amount is reached, we are able to support a pre-selected recipient. This is therefore not a one-time initiative, but ongoing support, provided directly and without intermediaries to people whose lives are, for various reasons, more challenging than those of most of us.

AUREL Štístko: three years of support
Among the nominations is also a tradition called AUREL Štístko. Every three years, together with our colleagues, we select one story that requires long-term support. The chosen recipient then receives support from AUREL for three consecutive years. For the family, this brings at least a small sense of stability in a difficult situation.
In 2025, we completed a three-year period of support for Nikolka, who has been facing a serious illness with remarkable determination. Nominations for AUREL Štístko for the years 2026–2028 are now in full swing.
How we helped in 2025

Over the past year, our colleagues nominated a total of seven strong and challenging stories. In the end, we were able to provide financial support to six of them. Thanks to the collected funds, for example, little Jasmínka, who is on the autism spectrum, can attend a school that respects her individual needs and supports her development.
Our support also went to a mother who is raising two daughters on the autism spectrum on her own. We supported her in the past and returned to her story again this year, as her life situation unfortunately became even more complicated. We believe that our contribution will help her regain stability.
Our support also reached Alex. We contributed towards the purchase of an electric wheelchair, which will significantly improve his everyday mobility and allow for greater independence.
