SimulUK Development and innovation center for autonomous vehicles:
We draw on a subsidy from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness. The project "Development and Innovation Centre for Autonomous Vehicles" is co-financed by the European Union. The submitted project focuses on building a development and innovation centre for testing and developing autonomous vehicle systems. The content of the project is the creation of capacities that will jointly expand the limited technical background in the Czech Republic for the implementation of research activities on advanced assistance systems, which are currently a highly monitored topic. Place of project implementation: Břehyně 983, Doksy, 47201.

SimulUK – Simulation Environment in the Ústí Region within the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme
Programme: Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme (national project)
Project duration: 2023 - 2028
Project acronym: SimulUK
Overview:
The project primarily focuses on creating a comprehensive environment for the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle systems within the Ústí Region.
This will include the expansion of the virtual model of the U SMART ZONE – a testing polygon for advanced driver assistance and autonomous vehicle systems – to bring it closer to the standard of a digital twin. The environment will provide a complex, heterogeneous and stochastic framework for virtual testing of vehicle systems and for the creation of traffic simulations, particularly those based on human-in-the-loop (testing human behavioural responses) and vehicle-in-the-loop approaches (testing vehicle behaviour in a simulated environment).
Both of these approaches benefit from highly realistic visual modelling and the possibility of parallel testing, meaning the measurement and comparison of values in both real and simulated environments on the same section of road. The outcomes of this process will subsequently be used to develop methodologies for creating large-scale virtual models designed for advanced traffic simulations.

Development of the Břehyně Cooperative Testing Ecosystem for Intelligent and Sustainable Testing of Modern Mobility Using 5G
Overview:
Development of the Břehyně Cooperative Testing Ecosystem for Intelligent and Sustainable Testing of Modern Mobility Using 5G. This project is co-funded by the European Union.
The objective of the project is to develop a comprehensive digital solution for vehicle testing based on mathematical models, the digital twin concept, and artificial intelligence elements. The solution will make the testing of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving systems more efficient and significantly reduce testing time.
