TorqGuardPro

Direct Torque Sensor

Our own design

TorqGuardPro is a measuring element specially designed for valves. It is designed for torque/angle measurement, and specially developed for quarter-turn valves (butterfly valves) with interchangeable flanges. The unique design allows for accurate and reliable monitoring, and high versatility of use. Installation is quick and easy. The sensor is inserted between the valve and the actuator. TorqGuardPro is an effective solution for optimizing operation and preventing potential problems.

For manufacturers

Accurate data from TorqGuardPro allows valve manufacturers to better specify the optimal actuators for their equipment. In this case, the selection of the optimal actuator is based on knowledge of real-world operating torques and angles. It eliminates actuator oversizing, reduces costs and extends the life of the entire system. By integrating TorqGuardPro into the testing process, manufacturers obtain objective data to verify the correct functionality, design solution and valve settings. Real-time torque and angle measurement serves as a reliable indicator of quality. It minimizes the risk of complaints and strengthens customer confidence.

For valve users

The TorqGuarPro sensor allows valve users to perform regular checks on the functionality of their valves even after they are installed. Proactive maintenance helps to detect potential problems such as increased friction, leaks or blockages. It can prevent costly repairs, unplanned downtime and extend the life of the equipment. The measuring element also allows for input quality control when purchasing new valves. Accurate measurement of torque and angle allows valves to be precisely set for optimal operating conditions. This results in energy savings and reduced wear. Data from the TorqGuardPro is also useful for diagnosing problems or as valuable documentation for internal audits, external reviews and demonstrating compliance with safety regulations.

"TorqGuardPro is used not only to measure the torque on the pipeline valve, but especially to define and recommend the smallest possible actuator to ensure safe operation"
